Campers closed out session 1 of camp today with some water games and rocket launches! Every camper also went home with a surprise bag of space themed goodies! We want to thank the families who sent their students in this week for some fun and learning! Stay tuned for session 2!
Father Luke Uebler celebrated his last daily Mass at St. Mary's Church Swormville at 9 AM today. He was assisted by altar servers from St. Mary School. Parishioners were able to say goodbye and good luck after Mass.
Today our campers made moon dough, wrote a letter home about their trip to space, and practiced their measuring skills. We even had some water balloon fun! We're so sad tomorrow is our last day of camp!

Today's camp agenda included budgeting money for a trip to outer space, talking about the moon, and "Fizzy Moon" chemical reactions!

Our 3-5th grade campers had another fun day today! They made space stations to explore Jupiter's moon, played "Asteroid Bowling" and worked on budgeting time for their own trip to space.

Our SMS Summer Camp for students in grades 3, 4, and 5 started today. This week's theme is outer space!
Our Montessori friends were so excited to get their yearbooks on the last day of class! At St. Mary School, Montessori Children's House is part of our school family!
The Early Bird Drawing for St. Mary's Picnic Raffle will be held on June 29th. Tickets must be received in the parish office by noon on Wednesday, June 28 to be eligible for two $250 cash prizes. Winners' tickets are returned to the drum for the Picnic Sunday drawings on July 23.

Mrs. Witkowski's Super Scientist had a blast and brought energy (literally) to the classroom! We are grateful to the Hemmingson family for bidding to win this extraordinary experience for their son and for the students of SMS.
At the end of our last school Mass, Fr. Luke had special help with the blessing of teachers and students for the summer and SMS presented Fr. Luke with a hockey stick and helmet signed by the entire school body. He laid his gifts before Jesus in the tabernacle and humbly received a standing ovation.
If your family would like to create a Blessing Bag to keep in your car in case you meet a homeless person in need, we suggest using a draw string or sturdy bag and including the following items:

• toothbrush & toothpaste
