Mrs. D'Angelo could be seen reading to various classrooms today in celebration of Read Across America Day.

Our little Kindergarten "Cats in the Hat" are celebrating Read Across America Day by dressing up as favorite characters and, of course, reading.

Our SMS first grade loves books! Happy Read Across America Day!

Middle School students spent the day comparing and contrasting rocks and minerals. They put their knowledge to work investigating different candies and labeling them as "rocks" or "minerals" based on their characteristics and the definition of rocks and minerals.

What a terrific example of "STREAMing" at St. Mary School! Great job, Grade 4!

There is no doubt that these men support our school and students spiritually, but they also support all aspects of our school! Thank you for all you do to make St. Mary's an amazing place to grow in faith and academics! (photo from 100th day of school when students dressed as 100 year olds)

We received a huge thank you for the Valentines for Veterans service project we participated in. There are so many ways our students show God's love to others.

Happy 100th Day of School from Kindergarten! 🥳

The students presented Fr. Bryan with a special gift for Captain Disciple. They all signed a specially designed cape for him and are excited that wherever he goes, our SMS students are surrounding him in love!

Miss Reeves' middle schoolers recently learned about the movement of Earth's land via convection currents. They observed convection using food coloring, cold water, and hot water and watched the science happen. Can you see the convection in action?

Mrs. Schnackle's first graders enjoyed Valentine fun with two crafts and a snack :) they wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day from Kindergarten!! 😍 Thank you to all of our amazing families for making St. Mary’s even more special….🐝❤️

Our St. Mary's 3rd and 4th grade basketball team has loved learning the game and being able to scrimmage with other area Catholic Schools! #basketballbees

Today our St. Mary's 4th graders got to explore ELASTIC POTENTIAL ENERGY by thinking like engineers and building their own catapults that were used in a CATAPULT CHALLENGE competition!

Skating Party 2023 Fun! Thank you, HSA, for coordinating this event for our school! Our parent school organization is the best. If you would like fun student, family and adult events to be part of your family's school life, consider St. Mary School. #SMStheplacetobee

We are blessed to have such wonderful role models for our students; specifically Fr. Luke and Fr. Bryan, who spoke at the opening of our 2023 Career Fair. They each shared about their path to the priesthood, and how important it is to listen to God's call in our lives.
A prayer for vocations:
God our Father, we thank you for calling men and women to serve in your Son's Kingdom as priests, deacons, and consecrated persons. Send your Holy Spirit to help others to respond generously and courageously to your call. May our community of faith support vocations of sacrificial love in our youth and young adults.

St. Mary School is celebrating Catholic Schools Week with learning, fun and faith! Yesterday we had a K-8 field trip day where groups of students visited the Tifft Nature Preserve, Buffalo and Erie Botanical Gardens, went bowling and celebrated Mass as together at St. Joseph's Cathedral with the Bishop.

Our Girls’ Varsity Bees were humming on their home court last night.
