On Saturday, March 18th, St. Mary's held the annual First Communion Spirit Day.
The goal of Spirit Day was for the future communicant and their parent to step aside from normal activities and routines to focus on God and our Catholic faith. The morning retreat was a time to spend together and to think about the sacrament of Communion that children will soon be celebrating for the first time. Multiple workshops allowed both child and parent to learn more about Mass and the Holy Eucharist.
We truly appreciate our catechist volunteers who give of their time and love to make our Spirit Days come alive each year.
