What do you value?

January 2025

Dear St. Mary’s Family,

What do you value? We all value our children of course, and want a quality, academically excellent education for them. In this ever-changing world, many also see the true worth of our Catholic values, and how important it is to instill them in our young people from a young age. St. Mary School is a place where Catholic values shape tomorrow’s leaders.

When you choose St. Mary School Swormville, you’re not just choosing an excellent Catholic School that offers a superior education, and a wide variety of sports and extra-curricular activities, you’re joining a family! Our values of Faith, Family, Knowledge, Service & Tradition resonate through all that we do – from rigorous academics in the classroom and good sportsmanship on the athletic field, to reverence at weekly school Mass and commitment to service projects in the community – St. Mary School graduates excel in high school and beyond. We challenge students to reach their full potential, test their limits, and maximize their talents.

I would like to personally invite you to attend one of our enrollment events this January to see for yourself why we’re more than just a school.

LEAD Night: Thursday, January 16th, 2025, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Lower Elementary Academic Discovery Night is for children entering grades K - 2 this fall. Explore our classrooms with your family, take a tour of the school, meet our Principal, teachers, & parents of current SMS students, all while your child takes part in a scavenger hunt and fun learning activities.

OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, January 26th, 2025, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. For those families interested in learning more about Pre-K Montessori (ages 3-6) through grade 8. Come tour the school, meet with teachers and current parents, and find out why SMS is the place to “bee”, while enjoying a FREE donut, courtesy of our Home School Association.

Be sure to RSVP to let us know you’ll be attending either event by visiting www.smstheplacetobee.com.

We’re also happy to schedule personalized tours of any grade level. Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families through the Bison Scholarship Fund, as well as our own Sister Sheila Tuition Grant. A quality education that aligns with your values may be more affordable than you think! Contact Rebecca Kisailus, our Enrollment Coordinator for more information at 716-689-8424, or rkisailus@stmaryschoolswormville.org.

We look forward to seeing you this January, and wish your family many blessings for 2025.
