This is more than just a "noise & wiggle-friendly" time for Adoration - it is an invitation for children (of all ages) & families to be in the real presence of Jesus. It is a time to grow comfortable in Adoration, to grow spiritually, & to grow in relationship with our Lord & each other. Sacred Heart volunteers are present, not just to welcome your family, but also to provide music, activities, & support. They will help your family feel at ease & learn about Jesus' Sacred Heart & His love for you. Bring the whole family!
Children's & Family Holy Hour is held every First Friday of the month from 4-5 pm. If you can't make it this week, please join us in December.

Here are a few simple ways to pray for the faithful departed as a family:
• Make a list of names. Write down grandparents, friends and anyone your family has lost. Keep the list by the dinner table and pray for them before meals all month. (November is the month of the Holy Souls.)
• Learn the Eternal Rest prayer. "Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen."
• Visit a cemetery. Through November 8th, the Church grants a plenary indulgence for the souls in purgatory when you visit a cemetery and pray for the dead (under the usual conditions). Bring the kids and let them pray at a family grave.
• Offer a Mass or a Rosary. Ask your parish to offer a Mass for someone you love, or pray a decade of the Rosary together for them tonight.
