Our 8th grade class enjoyed their day today during their 8th grade picnic. They tie-dyed shirts, snuck in some Graduation rehearsal, reflected on their time here at SMS, and even had time in an inflatable obstacle course. Fun was had by all!

Grade 4 was glowing today! Miss Kerwin's students enjoyed a neon glow party as their end of year celebration, complete with glowing crafts and neon streamers & balloons. #youreglowing #neon #blacklight

Our students have had so much fun with the special experiences their families won in our annual #SpringforSuccess Auction Gala over the past several weeks - #makingslime with Mrs. Witkowski was a glowing experience! Thank you Papke family for your donation!

Our Kindergartners & 8th graders led us in #CharacterEd this am, and in the liturgy at #SchoolMass! "...If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

Our third graders gathered in the chapel to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as the month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart. Students had MANY questions about the chapel and the history of St. Mary’s! #June #SacredHeartofJesus #stmarys175

While your student is counting down to the annual HSA school picnic next week, take a look at the activities, menu (and prices!) from the 1986 school picnic. #throwbackThursday #StMarys175

We are so proud of all of our students, from the tallest to the smallest, who sang beautifully during last night's concert portion of our #NightoftheArts !Thank you to Mr. Polen for all of your hard work! 🐝🎶🎨 #SMStheplacetoBEE

Congrats to 8th graders Jackson S. & Brady M.! Jackson will play saxophone in the Concert Band at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute this Fall. Brady recently received a score of 95 on a level 5 french horn solo at NYSSMA, & will join the Williamsville North Wind Ensemble.

Our band was music to our ears at the #NightoftheArts! Students in grades 3-8 have the opportunity to take instrumental music lessons after school, and they certainly have worked hard and done a beautiful job! 🐝🎶🎨 #SMStheplacetoBEE #band

Our Night of the Arts celebration last night featured many beautiful pieces of artwork from our students - thank you Mrs. Genovese for putting together another beautiful show! 🐝🎶🎨 #NightoftheArts #SMStheplacetoBEE

This morning our AMAZING fourth grade teacher, Miss Kerwin, was awarded a citation from the New York State Assembly for her exceptional teaching abilities and unwavering dedication to her students. Congratulations Miss Kerwin, it is well deserved! 💙🤍

According to records, the SMS building completed in 1931 (and still in use along Transit Rd. today), was the first one-floor plan school in Erie County. At this time, by means of Sunday evening card parties, picnics and socials, the parishioners began to chip away at the debt of the new school, even in the very face of the great depression. #throwbackthursday #StMarys175
