St. Mary School Swormville -

Students in grades 4-8 recently participated in our SMS Career Fair. We welcomed over 20 guests, including school parents and even some alumni! Fr. Tom opened the event with a prayer and talk on vocations. Students enjoyed meeting with our guests and learning about various careers, including architecture, banking, law, the food industry, speech therapy, education, advertising, criminal investigation, and more!

☃️ Tuesday was "Winter Wonderland" Day for #SMSspiritweek! Students dressed in their PJs or warm, snuggly clothes & brought snow gear to play outside! Activities for the day included snow sculptures, Winter Olympic style games, hot chocolate & more!

After many years of collaboration between St. Mary’s Parish and School, St. Mary School will now oversee the planning and execution of the annual Auction Gala. All proceeds will be restricted for use by St. Mary School. This is our school’s largest fundraiser, and raises much needed revenue for the many time-honored traditions and programs offered at our wonderful Catholic school.

The Magnificat Gala will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the elegant, newly renovated Brookfield Country Club. Magnificat will feature an online Silent Auction leading up to the event with hundreds of enticing items. The Gala itself on Saturday evening will feature a cocktail hour with exciting games and activities, open bar, gourmet dinner, and Live Auction. Sponsors also receive early admission to enjoy an extra hour of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as an advanced preview of auction items.

St. Mary School has been an integral part of our community for over 175 years. Perhaps you, your family, friends, employees, or customers are members of our growing school and parish community. Your support as a sponsor or donor will ensure the success of Magnificat, and allow St. Mary School to continue to provide a quality, affordable Catholic education to families in our community, as well as give you the opportunity to showcase your business.
