
Our 3-5th grade campers had another fun day today! They made space stations to explore Jupiter's moon, played "Asteroid Bowling" and worked on budgeting time for their own trip to space.

Our SMS Summer Camp for students in grades 3, 4, and 5 started today. This week's theme is outer space!











Our Montessori friends were so excited to get their yearbooks on the last day of class! At St. Mary School, Montessori Children's House is part of our school family!




The Early Bird Drawing for St. Mary's Picnic Raffle will be held on June 29th. Tickets must be received in the parish office by noon on Wednesday, June 28 to be eligible for two $250 cash prizes. Winners' tickets are returned to the drum for the Picnic Sunday drawings on July 23.

Mrs. Witkowski's Super Scientist had a blast and brought energy (literally) to the classroom! We are grateful to the Hemmingson family for bidding to win this extraordinary experience for their son and for the students of SMS.






At the end of our last school Mass, Fr. Luke had special help with the blessing of teachers and students for the summer and SMS presented Fr. Luke with a hockey stick and helmet signed by the entire school body. He laid his gifts before Jesus in the tabernacle and humbly received a standing ovation.









If your family would like to create a Blessing Bag to keep in your car in case you meet a homeless person in need, we suggest using a draw string or sturdy bag and including the following items:
• protein drink(unrefrigerated)
• pop top cans of fruit & spoon
• apple sauce & spoon
• a bottle of water
• bar of soap, deodorant, moisturizer
• toothbrush & toothpaste
• small package of baby wipes
• socks
• $5 or $10 gifts cards to Tim Hortons or Burger King for food and use of the facility

SMS Track and Field Bees 2023!


On Monday, 6th and 7th grade students went on a field trip to Old Fort Niagara. The rain didn't keep them from having a good time!









It's a tie! Grade 8 and the teachers each won one volleyball game! Lots of great volleys and super serving! More photos to come!









Just In! Picnic game winners: 1st place-Purple, 2nd place-Navy, 3rd place-Black. We are so happy to have returned to our mixed grade teams; it was so much fun!


The cast and crew our spring musical, The Addams Family, had a party to celebrate a great production!

Kindergarten and Grade 1 had a beautiful day to enjoy the Buffalo Zoo yesterday. We are grateful to our chaperones, teachers, and Mrs. D'Angelo for making field trips possible for our students! Rachel treated the 3rd grade class to an editable art day! Students were challenged to create all from food , stained glass window, jewelry and creative creatures! Thank you Rachel 's parents for supporting our Spring for Success Auction! It was a delicious day in the Art room!
