Mrs. Laderer's 5th graders read about the life cycle of a #ChristmasTree today. They created wheels to explain the sequence of events, & learned it takes 6-8 years for one to grow. Students were able to infer that's why Christmas trees can cost so much! #grade5 #knowledge
The #BuffaloSabres brought their #StudentsOfTheGame program to SMS today! This initiative aims to incorporate floor hockey into PE for grades 2-4, and teach this age level all about the sport . 🏀 The SMS/NBVM JV Boys fell 25 to 21 against St. John the Baptist last Saturday. Playing hard in all aspects, they trailed early but closed the gap to a tie late in the 2nd half. Grayson V. had 5 rebounds & David M. had 3 steals, while Josh Z. led scorers with 10 points.
