She was on the volleyball, basketball, softball, swimming, bowling, track, & soccer teams. She was also active in the drama club & received an award for Excellence in Drama. Samantha was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and was on the math team. She received the President’s Award for Academic Excellence, & was on the Principal’s Honor Roll. Brayden received the Virtue Award for Brotherly Love, the President’s Award for Academic Achievement, & was on the High Honor Roll. Brayden also received the Sister Sheila Ann Burke Memorial Award for starting each day anew, persevering through hardships, learning through life experiences, & demonstrating growth from his experiences. One of his favorite memories from SMS was the 8th grade class trip to Washington, D.C., on which he had a great time & made many wonderful memories with his classmates.
