We're celebrating the SMS #Classof2024 all summer long! 🐝💙🤍🎓 Jackson has attended St. Mary’s since PreK-3. He was very active in school and the 8th grade class treasurer. Jackson participated in swim, track, basketball, soccer, bowling, drama club, intramurals, altar serving, & band. Jackson received the NYS Attorney General Triple “C” Award, the President’s Award for Academic Excellence, & the Montessori Buddy Award. He was also on the Principal’s Honor Roll for having an average over 97%. He was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and was on the school math team. Jackson’s fondest memory from SMS was winning their Varsity Boys Basketball division & earning a school banner. His favorite memory from St. Mary’s is the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C., and Noah will be attending Williamsville East High School in the fall. Patrick is an active boy scout & altar server, & received awards for Altar Server of the Year, Excellence in Bible Study, the President’s Award for Academic Achievement, the NYS Comptroller’s Achievement Award, & was on the High Honor Roll. Patrick also frequently serves as a volunteer for numerous organizations, including as a Catholic Youth Rally 2024 Committee Member, Troop 92 Life Scout, St. Mary’s Day of Caring Volunteer, & St. Mary's Parish Picnic Volunteer. His fondest SMS memory is the Varsity Basketball team’s undefeated 2024-25 season. Patrick will attend Canisius High School in the fall where he received a scholarship. We're celebrating the SMS #Classof2024 all summer long! 🐝💙🤍🎓 Maeve joined SMS in her 4th grade year. She participated on the swim, softball, & volleyball teams, & advanced choir. She was also involved in drama club, acting as "Ariel" in this past Spring’s production of “The Little Mermaid Jr.”. Maeve received awards for Excellence in Music, Excellence in Art, a Diocesan Art Award, the President’s Award for Academic Excellence, was on the school math team, & is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. She is also on the High Honor Roll. Maeve credits the wide variety of extracurricular activities that she was able to participate in at SMS with teaching her some important life lessons, & forging lasting relationships:
“Each school activity that I have participated in at Saint Mary’s taught me something new about maintaining a healthy, lifelong friendship. Swim taught me about trust, softball taught me about communication, volleyball taught me about teamwork, & the musicals taught me about unity. Without participating in every one of these activities, I don’t think I would have made the lifelong relationships that I made with the people at Saint Mary School.”
