TUITION ASSISTANCE for Private Grammar Schools Now Available. The BISON Children Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance to economically eligible children in grades K-8. New families can now apply for scholarships for the 2023-24 school year. To start the process, families can complete a pre-application form online at http://bisonfund.com/our-scholarships. If selected in our lottery drawing, the scholarships can be used at any private grammar school in WNY. The deadline to apply is March 15. Mrs. K joined our SMS 6th graders in leading the Stations of the Cross after 9 AM Mass this morning. Middle school students explored the processes involved in the rock cycle today with Starbursts. They put their Starbursts through the processes to create sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous Starburst rocks. You can see that the 8th grade boys wanted to get the most weight possible on their Starburst rock.

Middle School students spent the day comparing and contrasting rocks and minerals. They put their knowledge to work investigating different candies and labeling them as "rocks" or "minerals" based on their characteristics and the definition of rocks and minerals.
