Middle school students explored the processes involved in the rock cycle today with Starbursts. They put their Starbursts through the processes to create sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous Starburst rocks. You can see that the 8th grade boys wanted to get the most weight possible on their Starburst rock.

Our little Kindergarten "Cats in the Hat" are celebrating Read Across America Day by dressing up as favorite characters and, of course, reading.

Middle School students spent the day comparing and contrasting rocks and minerals. They put their knowledge to work investigating different candies and labeling them as "rocks" or "minerals" based on their characteristics and the definition of rocks and minerals.







What a terrific example of "STREAMing" at St. Mary School! Great job, Grade 4!

We received a huge thank you for the Valentines for Veterans service project we participated in. There are so many ways our students show God's love to others.

The students presented Fr. Bryan with a special gift for Captain Disciple. They all signed a specially designed cape for him and are excited that wherever he goes, our SMS students are surrounding him in love!




Miss Reeves' middle schoolers recently learned about the movement of Earth's land via convection currents. They observed convection using food coloring, cold water, and hot water and watched the science happen. Can you see the convection in action?





Mrs. Schnackle's first graders enjoyed Valentine fun with two crafts and a snack :) they wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!
