Grade 2 reverently led this morning's Mass by reading the Scripture, offering intentions, and presenting the Offertory gifts.
Mrs. Egleston, Director of Catholic Education for St. Mary's Faith Community, visited our SMS Kindergarten classroom this morning and taught a beautiful lesson on our Blessed Mother, Mary. The children had so much fun listening to a story, making flowers for Mary, coloring a Mary “statue” and crowning Mary in our classroom!

As many of you already know there was an issue processing payments last night after the auction closed, tech-support is still looking into it, some people have been able to submit their payment through the text2bid system using AmEx cards, but others have not. Our 5th graders worked together with our 3rd graders to review finding the area of a shape. there are several shapes with measurements taped on the floor in the hallway and students rotated to all shapes and figured out the area. What a fun way to review our math skills!
